How to Get Help

Our organization has mobilized hundreds of lawyers, law students, faculty members and other individuals who are ready to provide legal assistance to Hurricane Katrina victims in a wide of variety areas. We stand ready to provide assistance on the receipt of benefits; insurance issues; replacement of lost documents; wills; criminal law problems; FEMA issues, landlord/tenant disputes; family law issues and other legal problems that may arise over the next several weeks and months. As many of our members have a connection to the New Orleans region, we are prepared to make a long-term committment to Hurricane Katrina victims.
